Koh Samui is regarded as a year-round destination as it as the temperature fluctuations are minimal. To fully enjoy your outdoor exploration, try avoiding the monsoon season from September to November.
Bangkok with its tropical monsoon climate is busy all year round. For good weather, the best time to visit Bangkok is from November to February. This period is cooling, with day temperatures under 30°C. However, that is also the high season. The shoulder season runs from April to June, and September to October. Do note that April to June are Bangkok’s hottest months, whereas September and October are slightly cooler and wetter. The low season is during the monsoon season from July to August. You will get frequent bouts of intense rain, but you will be able to enjoy lower prices.
